About Saima Asghar
Saima Asghar is a TESOL-qualified Warwick alumna with over 20 years of experience in student counseling, teaching, teacher training, and English language assessment. She has represented her alma mater in international student admissions since 1998, helping hundreds of students with university, scholarship, and job applications worldwide.
As a certified DiSC and ‘How Women Rise’ coach, Saima supports professionals in achieving workplace improvements through behavioral change. She is a British Council trained IELTS professional and has taught English at The University of Warwick, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Kinnaird College for Women, and the Virtual University of Pakistan.
Saima has also trained educational professionals at Kinnaird College, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), and the Ali Institute of Education. Additionally, she has served as a consultant trainer for the Punjab Judicial Academy, focusing on developing soft skills for district judiciary and judicial staff of the Lahore High Court.
Experience & Achievements
Saima has extensive experience in education management, serving as the Founding Director of the Directorate of Faculty Development & Internationalisation at LCWU. She launched a Faculty Development Centre and Pakistan’s first university-level Citizenship program with the British Council.
She has worked to enhance the teaching and research capabilities of Asia’s largest women’s university, built international partnerships, supported social entrepreneurship projects, and increased the university’s global profile.
Saima is also a board member for Pakistani Schools in Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah and serves on the Institutional Review Board at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Lahore.
